Custom Salkantay Trek for 13 Plus Wedding!
I cannot even begin to put into words what an amazing experience my group had with Peru Summit Adventures. When my fiance and I decided we wanted to get married in Peru and do a trek with some of our
closest friends and family, I had no idea where to start planning, as I have never been to the country and don't speak the language. Thankfully a good from of mine referred me to Carlos. From the first email, I could tell immediately that Carlos was the man for the job. Throughout the entire planning process he was beyond thorough and detail oriented and helpful. There was no question or request too big. Also the response time was always within a few hours. When I first started planning I could barely wrap my head around how I was going to get 13 people to Peru for this 5 day trek and then an additional 7 people to join us at the end of the trek. Logistically I just didn't know where to start. Carlos explained everything in detail and took care of EVERYTHING. The 5 day trek turned

Ausengate Trek – Best 5 Days so far!
I did the 5 day Ausengate Trek (including the rainbow Mountain) with a friend, these 5 days were the best days on our trip so far. Carlos the owner met us twice before we started the trek. The first t
ime was just because we wanna have some more informations about the trek, the second time we met with the other hikers and our guide JC for the briefing. JC the guide was such a lovely, helpful and funny guy and he did his Job really well! He took care of us, helped the once which were fighting with the altitude and motivated us when ever we needed! The chef cook Julio Cesar und his assistant Gustavo created everytime fantastic meals and surprised us with beautiful creation and even backed some cake! Last but not least our three horsemen Francisco, Dimas and Jenaro were the most funniest guys you can imagine. Whenever you saw them they were in a good mood! Muchas gracias!!

Salkantay Walk with Peru Summit
Recently along with some friends we walked the Salkantay Trek organised and guided by Peru Summit. Peru Summit were fantastic in every way. Everything was well thought through and very organised. Amon
gst the many highlights were our head cook Evangelio who was a genius in cooking three course meals over a fire in a single pot. What he managed to cook for us was extraordinary. He also made a birthday cake in a pot on my birthday which was an amazing effort over the campfire! Our guide Fernando was also brilliant. He took time to understand how we wanted to complete the trip as well as share his incredible knowledge on Peru including Peruvian political history. Carlos also went out of his way to make sure we had everything we need. Overall I highly recommend Peru Summit but make sure you are given the option to climb Huayna Picchu when in Machu Picchu. We weren't which our only dissapointment of the entire trip.

Ausengate Trek 5D/4N
We booked the 5D/4N Ausengate Trek with Peru Summit Adventures and it was a unique experience. Despite the breathtaking landscapes, the trip was very professionally organized: before starting the trek
Carlos visited us in our hostel to explain all the details of the trek, the exact route, what's included and what's not, where we will sleep and how high we will go. At this point I'd like to underline his constant availability and prompt responses to any of our questions, which made a very good impression. The quality of the rented gear (hiking poles and sleeping bags) was outstanding, despite chilly temperatures especially at night, we did not freeze. Juan-Carlos, our guide was dedicated and professional throughout the whole tour, he has a huge knowledge of fauna and flora and a great sense of humor. Moreover, when we were short of oxygen at higher altitudes, he kept motivating us. The cooks, Julio-Cesar and Gustavo spoiled us with a variety of delicious meals, they even baked a cake wi

Choquechirao 4D
Me and my boyfriend chose to do this trek since we wanted to do something different - less touristy than Machu Pichu, but still get the opportunity to experience a grand Inka site. If you are thinking
in the same way, I can highly recommend you to do this trek with Peru Summit. The crew was very professional and gave us a lot of information in advance on what to bring and how to prepare for this trek. Carlos contacted us and met us one day prior to the trek's beginning. We felt assured that they were keen on making us happy with our trip and also that they cared about our security. We were really happy with our guide J-C. He was very knowledgeable, kind and could tell us a lot about Inka culture. Also the food was amazing. We got a wide variety of food, even for breakfast! It seemed like our chef had really planned the menu notoriously. However, I highly recommend you to train and prepare yourself fir this trek in advance. We ourselves have some experience in trekking in Swedish

Exceptional Salkantay 5D Trek!
From the moment I contacted Carlos (months before the hike) he was more than helpful! He answered very quickly and detailed all my questions regarding the trek and even other stuff regarding traveling
through Cusco. Having read the amazing web page they have and given the professional response Carlos showed, I did not doubt to hire this company for our Salkantay 5 day trek. And I am more than satisfied with this decision! The trek itself was amazing! I wish I could go back and do it all again! We were most of the trek alone on the trail, the camping sites were very calm and had amazing views. Everything was thoroughly organized: the food, the logistics of the tents, where we ate, the places to stop, the timing, etc! The guide Juan Carlos, was amazing, his knowledge of the Incas and of the trail can only be outdone by his love for his job and the story of his country. Thanks JC for sharing these days with us! Last but not least, the chefs and the horse man were awesome, food

Trip of a lifetime with such a friendly welcoming team!
We have just completed the 11 day Cusco city, Machu Picchu, Ausengate-Rainbow mountain tour trek with Peru Summit. Carlos was an absolute pleasure to deal with, from the very first email, to welcoming
us with smiles, to dropping us off at the airport at the end! He tailored our holiday to suit all of our needs and really looked after us with the quality of hotels we stayed at. The Cusco tours, Machu Picchu and the Ausengate trek was guided by JC who is undoubtedly one of the best in the business. There’s only Juan Carlos 😉 🤙 His friendly personality along with his knowledge and passion for his job has definitely made our trip the greatest! The food on the trek was 5 star along with the service to make us as comfortable as we can possibly be. Thank you to all the chefs, horseman and porters for their incredible patience and service! You guys are truely awesome at what you do! Thanks for all the memories peru summit! 🙏🏻

Awesome Classic 5 day Inca Trail Trek
Professional and well organized. Carlos answered all questions promptly and was very helpful. Made the trek for my 60th birthday with my daughter and son-in-law. Trek guide, Juan Carlos knew all about
the terrain, flowers, and wildlife, which we enjoyed as we trekked along the trail at are own pace. Food on the trek was 1st class. They even made a birthday cake. Porters did great job. Highly recommended for a worry free and enjoyable trip.

Machu Picchu 2 Day Hike – Amazing Trip with flawless execution!
After much reading and research we decided to book a Machu Picchu 2 Day Hiking Tour with Peru Summit Adventure. I emailed several companies and Carlos was always the quickest to respond and had perfec
t English. If you are just reading about this tour you have to understand that getting to MP is not easy. You have to travel by private car to Ollantaytambo, then by train to Aguas Calientes, and then by bus up to the MP gate, then get an entrance ticket into MP. There were long lines at each of those stops. With our tour guide, Jacky, she had all the tickets reserved and paid for and we literally just walked onto the trains and buses with her leading the way. It was effortless! Including the hotel in AC! All credit to the knowledge and work done by Carlos to organize the reservations in advance with proper timing and sequence. There was not a single glitch during the whole adventure! Carlos has lead hundreds of tours and hikes over the years. Now he is organizing them with his own company

Memories for a lifetime!!!
If you are ant an authentic, safe, well organized, thorough trek go with Peru Summit. We found them through a simple internet search. We reached out via email to a few companies but Carlos from Peru
Summit was the first to respond and the most thorough. He helped us customize or 12 day adventure from start to finish. Helping us with tips on what to do from the first days of our trip through the end. Our guide was JUAN Carlos, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was born and raised in the mountains behind Machu Picchu. He speaks English, Spanish and Quechua and this made for such an authentic experience. Our chef made delicious meals during our 4 day trek including quinoa soup, veggies, chicken, pork, avocado salad, desert, crepes, omelet, fresh juices such as chicha morada, and warm quinoa poridge(my fav)... They woke us up in the morning with right at the door of our tent with either coffee or tea, what a treat! Our Horseman, was a kind and gentle man from Cuzco tha

Amazing Trip Ausangate 5 Days
I took the Ausangate 5 Day Trek and it was such an amazing experience. From the start, Carlos was in constant contact through WhatsApp and it was super easy to coordinate the trip. JC, the guide, w
as super competent in leading the group and I could tell that safety was of utmost importance here. They accommodated our needs really well, and the comfort level in the tents were so great (pillow, blankets, and even a hot water bottle! to sleep at night.) The amenities (makeshift toilets, kitchen, eating tents), were all set up really well, and fast as well. The food was sumptuous and spectacular every night. Even for lunch, I was constantly amazed by the spread and how they could concoct some dessert after dinner. Our stomachs were constantly filled with good food, and they also gave snacks everyday that we could munch on during our hike. The views were fantastic and we got to see many glacial lakes, an all-around view of Ausangate Mountain. The scenery changed everyday and I was

Salkantay Trek and Rainbow Mountain
The Peru Summit team was fantastic and their organization, friendliness, knowledge and excellent cooking made this trip a huge success. We always felt that we were being taken care of and their style
easily allowed for them to accommodate our pace. In addition to Carlos and his family, we had an excellent trekking team that exceeded our expectations. Our team included - Headguide: Fernando - Cook: Julio Cesar - Horseman: Jesus Each of them were friendly, professional and excellent at their craft. Julio, the cook, made meals that were unbelievably awesome (he should make a trail cookbook) ,Fernando helped us each any everyday and provided all of the assistance possible. Jesus was very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations around the campfire. Note: both the Rainbow Mtg and Salkantay Trek were more difficult then we expected. Be prepared. The good news is that Peru Summit can accommodate and adjust during your trip- so there are no worries

Ausangate Trek + Rainbow Mountain 5D/4N
I did the trek around ausangate on my last week in Peru because I wanted it to be a great completion of my trip and it was. I wrote to a few agencies and asked them if they have a spot left for my pr
efered date and fortunately perusummit had one. I met with Carlos, the owner of the company and we talked about the trek and what to expect. Carlos is a very polite guy and you can feel his enthusiasm for the mountains. One day befor the trek starts we met at the hotel and had a small briefing and as well received our duffle bags for our personal belongings. The duffle bags were carried by the horses so that you only have to carry a small daypack for water, snacks and your raingear. Then the next day we got picked up at our hotels and drove to Upis where we had breakfast and then started to hike. The trip was very well organized. The food was plenty and very delicious also the equipment was very high-end. The tents and sleepingbags (-18°C) were all from north face and the sleeping mattre

Peru Summit did a great job!
Six months before the trip two friends invited me to join them on a month-long Peru Summit trip. I wanted to do the first nineteen days which included the 5-day Classic Inca Trail, the 6-day Ausangate
Trek (with Rainbow Mountain) and 10 days accommodations in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Peru Summit calls this combo "Discovering the Gem of the Andes 19 days.") We sent Carlos a copy of my passport and he grabbed up the last Machu Picchu permit. My friends had chosen Peru Summit based on internet research. It was a great choice. Peru Summit takes care of you. Carlos picked me up at the airport, took me to the (wonderful) hotel that would be our home in Cusco and gave us a guided tour of central Cusco. The next day Jacky met us. She took us on a guided tour of archeological sites near Cusco that day, then of archeological sites in the Sacred Valley the next day. Juan Carlos (JC) took us to additional Sacred Valley sites the following day and was the guide for the Inca Trail and the Aus

Choquequirao 5 day Loop Trek
The Choquequirao 5 day trip was outstanding and a highlight of our travels in Peru. Carlos and his trek team are very professional and the level of service from the first email and throughout the trek
was excellent and I can't recommend them enough! Juve our guide was exceptional and was incredibly knowledgeable about local history, flora and fauna of the region. We had a private tour and we had a lot of fun on the trek learning or laughing the whole way. Thanks Juve. Our chef was an absolute genius in the small camp kitchen, delicious 3 or even 4 course meals. You will not be losing weight on this trek! Our horse team were also great and a super hard working team The trek its self was hot and hard work, and i would recommend doing the 5 day loop rather than the classic 4 trek. You get more time at the ruins and walk days are a bit spread out to make some of the difficult sections more manageable! Thanks again Carlos, Juve and the trek team for an incredible experience.

Choquequirao 5 day
Exceptional. From the professional brief/debrief for the trek. To the super friendly pre-trek introduction with the team (guide, cook, drivers) and final goodbye. The food was sensational. The hike
was amazing. It more like hiking with a great group of friends. If you're considering the Choquequirao Trek. This is the team. And do it over 5 days. Perfect timing, the extra day just to explore the ruins is worth it. Couldn't imagine doing the trek in any other way. 10/10

Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley
I highly recommend Peru Summit! I needed to book a last minute private tour to Rainbow Mountain and sent Peru Summit a whatsapp message early on a Sunday morning requesting a tour for the next day. Ca

7 day private tour with short inca trail – Fabulous!
Highly recommended! Carlos and his team did a fantastic job from first contact to dropping us at the Cusco airport. He worked with me to plan a comprehensive tour of the Sacred Valley, answering all
of my questions and delivering on my requests. We stayed in locally owned, beautiful 3 star hotels, enjoyed a unique Pachamanca lunch at a family home/farm, explored and learned about the Incan and current culture of the Sacred Valley, and completed the "short"/2 day Inca trail trek to Machu Picchu. Carolos is dedicated to providing a unique and environmentally sustainable experience for his guests and his team, and it shows in all that he does.

2 days – Titicaca Lake, private trip
What a trip! What a place! Incredible and unforgettable experience! Fantastic organization by the agency and guiding by Ernesto. Thank you so much Ernesto for sharing your reach knowledge with us. We
will never forget the Amantani Island, the local fiesta of January the 1st., the hospitality of the family we stayed at for the overnight. Taquile Island walk was also great. We experienced the stunning views. I do recommend Peru Summit for the travel arrangements both in the region of Titicaca Lake and the entire Peru as well. And always ask for Ernesto C.V. - our multilingual guide speaking Spanish, English, German, French. It was nice to practice with you these languages Ernesto :). Best regards, Mariusz, Dorota, Karolina
