We booked the 5D/4N Ausengate Trek with Peru Summit Adventures and it was a unique experience. Despite the breathtaking landscapes, the trip was very professionally organized: before starting the trek
Carlos visited us in our hostel to explain all the details of the trek, the exact route, what's included and what's not, where we will sleep and how high we will go. At this point I'd like to underline his constant availability and prompt responses to any of our questions, which made a very good impression. The quality of the rented gear (hiking poles and sleeping bags) was outstanding, despite chilly temperatures especially at night, we did not freeze. Juan-Carlos, our guide was dedicated and professional throughout the whole tour, he has a huge knowledge of fauna and flora and a great sense of humor. Me and my boyfriend chose to do this trek since we wanted to do something different - less touristy than Machu Pichu, but still get the opportunity to experience a grand Inka site. If you are thinking
in the same way, I can highly recommend you to do this trek with Peru Summit. The crew was very professional and gave us a lot of information in advance on what to bring and how to prepare for this trek. Carlos contacted us and met us one day prior to the trek's beginning. We felt assured that they were keen on making us happy with our trip and also that they cared about our security. We were really happy with our guide J-C. He was very knowledgeable, kind and could tell us a lot about Inka culture. Also the food was amazing. We got a wide variety of food, even for breakfast! It seemed like our chef had really planned the menu notoriously. However, I highly recommend you to train and prepare yourself fir this trek in advance. Exceptional Salkantay 5D Trek!
From the moment I contacted Carlos (months before the hike) he was more than helpful! He answered very quickly and detailed all my questions regarding the trek and even other stuff regarding traveling
through Cusco. Having read the amazing web page they have and given the professional response Carlos showed, I did not doubt to hire this company for our Salkantay 5 day trek. And I am more than satisfied with this decision! The trek itself was amazing! I wish I could go back and do it all again! We were most of the trek alone on the trail, the camping sites were very calm and had amazing views. Everything was thoroughly organized: the food, the logistics of the tents, where we ate, the places to stop, the timing, etc! The guide Juan Carlos, was amazing, his knowledge of the Incas and of the trail can only be outdone by his love for his job and the story of his country. Thanks JC for sharing these days with us! Trip of a lifetime with such a friendly welcoming team!
We have just completed the 11 day Cusco city, Machu Picchu, Ausengate-Rainbow mountain tour trek with Peru Summit. Carlos was an absolute pleasure to deal with, from the very first email, to welcoming
us with smiles, to dropping us off at the airport at the end! He tailored our holiday to suit all of our needs and really looked after us with the quality of hotels we stayed at. The Cusco tours, Machu Picchu and the Ausengate trek was guided by JC who is undoubtedly one of the best in the business. There’s only Juan Carlos 😉 🤙 His friendly personality along with his knowledge and passion for his job has definitely made our trip the greatest! The food on the trek was 5 star along with the service to make us as comfortable as we can possibly be. Thank you to all the chefs, horseman and porters for their incredible patience and service! You guys are truely awesome at what you do! Thanks for all the memories peru summit! 🙏🏻

Awesome Classic 5 day Inca Trail Trek
Professional and well organized. Carlos answered all questions promptly and was very helpful. Made the trek for my 60th birthday with my daughter and son-in-law. Trek guide, Juan Carlos knew all about
the terrain, flowers, and wildlife, which we enjoyed as we trekked along the trail at are own pace. Food on the trek was 1st class. They even made a birthday cake. Porters did great job. Highly recommended for a worry free and enjoyable trip.

Machu Picchu 2 Day Hike – Amazing Trip with flawless execution!
After much reading and research we decided to book a Machu Picchu 2 Day Hiking Tour with Peru Summit Adventure. I emailed several companies and Carlos was always the quickest to respond and had perfec
t English. If you are just reading about this tour you have to understand that getting to MP is not easy. You have to travel by private car to Ollantaytambo, then by train to Aguas Calientes, and then by bus up to the MP gate, then get an entrance ticket into MP. There were long lines at each of those stops. With our tour guide, Jacky, she had all the tickets reserved and paid for and we literally just walked onto the trains and buses with her leading the way. It was effortless! Including the hotel in AC! All credit to the knowledge and work done by Carlos to organize the reservations in advance with proper timing and sequence. There was not a single glitch during the whole adventure! Carlos has lead hundreds of tours and hikes over the years. Now he is organizing them with his own company
